1st Meeting of the “African Sub-Network of Sustainable Energy Centres”

Providing NEXUS Solutions: Improving Livelihoods through regional cooperation

The African Regional Sustainable Energy Centres in collaboration with UNIDO are organising a panel discussion which aims at addressing the urgent need of channeling regional cooperation towards a stronger NEXUS approach on Energy, Agriculture, Water, Health and Gender aspects. The meeting is kindly hosted by IRENA.

The conclusions of the meeting will result in a joint NEXUS position paper. Together, the 4 African Regional Sustainable Energy Centres enjoy the political support of over 45 countries in Africa!

The 4 Executive Directors will discuss with key Experts from AfdB, IRENA, SNV and further NEXUS partners.

The panel discussion will be kindly moderated by Ms Elfriede-Anna More, Director of International Environment Affairs, Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management.
