Praia, 3/Março/2017 – Com um orçamento no total de 1.050.000 USD, o ECREEE em parceria com o BAD e a NEPAD, irão lançar um projeto regional relacionado com um Estudo de Viabilidade visando Oportunidades de Negócio para Mulheres para a Mudança na Cadeia de Valor no Setor Energético na África Ocidental. 16 empresas lideradas por mulheres em 4 países da CEDEAO, serão identificadas para possível financiamento.
Media experts have reaffirmed the need for a network of Journalists from ECOWAS Member States to cover the activities of the ECOWAS Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE).
Emerging from a 2-day capacity building workshop of ECOWAS Member States’ journalists which ended in Dakar, on Thursday, 23rd June, 2016, participants recommended the setting up of a network to cater for the information need of Community citizens on renewable energy and related issues.
On 28 September 2015, ECREEE launched a call for research proposals in policy research. The call was launched under the framework of the ECOWAS Initiative on Youth Leadership Development in Energy, which is one of the five high-impact initiatives of the ECOWAS Programme on Gender Mainstreaming in Energy Access (ECOW-GEN).
Dakar, 30 septembre (ECREEE-PNUD) - L’utilisation de la bioenergie va permettre de «renverser la tendance et d’aider les pays à faire face aux problèmes environnementaux, économiques et sanitaires engendrés par l’utilisation non durable de la biomasse dans l’espace CEDEAO » a soutenu, mercredi à Dakar, le Directeur de Cabinet du Ministre de l’Energie et du Développement Durable du Sénégal (MEDER), Mor Ndiaye Mbaye.
